About the role

The last few years have seen a step change in our ambitions at Parkinson’s UK. We’re driven to find a cure. And we’re willing to embody our pioneering spirit to get us there. This means not always conforming to the status quo - whether that be in our research or marketing efforts.

We are currently seeking a Studio Manager who will play a pivotal role in supporting our communications teams to deliver best in class creative and ensure that Studio projects are delivered on time, on budget, and on brief.

You will champion collaboration and lead the co-ordination, scheduling and resource management of all comms engagement projects, ensuring these are aligned with our communication priorities. You’ll play a vital role in making sure that our comms engagement teams are using their time effectively, to deliver comms that will create the biggest impact against our strategic objectives


What you’ll do:

  • Be first point of contact for teams requesting external facing communications

  • Support teams to refine and clarify briefs

  • Check that briefs are aligned to agreed plans and priorities

  • Co-ordinate projects, facilitating discussions and creating project schedules for our Content, Creative and Digital Marketing teams

  • Monitor progress of projects, making sure that each stage stays on track and deadlines are met

What you’ll bring:

  • Significant experience of managing multiple projects in a medium-sized or complex organisation

  • A proactive approach to managing resources and supporting teams in a busy communications department

  • Knowledge of creative production processes and workflow

  • Ability to develop collaborative relationships with a range of teams

  • Outstanding organisation and ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines

  • Success in delivering excellent customer care to internal clients and stakeholders

As well as flexible working hours, this role is offered on a flexible contract giving you the opportunity to also work from home, on an agreed working pattern.  You will be required to cover your own travel expenses to the office.
