This is a Permanent, Full Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

You’ll help people living with Parkinson’s, their partners and families to get involved in research. Working with colleagues, researchers and volunteers, you’ll create and share information about opportunities to take part in research to drive forward better lives and treatments for people with Parkinson’s. Alongside this, you will work closely with our research interest groups and volunteers across the UK to support them in their work to help more people connect with research.

What you'll do 

  • Create clear and engaging information about opportunities to take part in research to share by email and on our online Take Part Hub.

  • Work with people with Parkinson’s and researchers on our Participation Steering Group to improve the way we support people to take part in research.

  • Work with the Research Support Network Manager and our regional volunteer-led Research Interest Groups to deliver events. 

  • Support the work of our volunteer Research Champions to share information and opportunities to get involved with their local groups and networks.

What you'll bring 

  • A good understanding of clinical research.

  • Experience delivering events online and/or in person.

  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.

  • A passion for working with colleagues and volunteers.
